Firstly let me wish all my moslem friends, Happy Eid al-Fitr! I wish you all a very happy and peaceful Eid. May Allah accept your good deeds, forgive your transgressions and ease the suffering of all people around the globe. It's not too late, right? lol
So i was joining a model hunt competition, called Indonesia Top Model. This was held by YAPMI (an Indonesian modeling foundation). Please do not laugh at me! haha. I know i'm not a model, but i joined this competition just for fun, also to get some knowledge, new experiences, and improve myself (my modelling skill, my speech skill, and especially my self confidence). Also i love doing something new.
The competition was divided onto three parts. The first session was photo session. As a model we should be able to pose for camera. But you should know how struggle i was. Well these are my photo results.
The second part was fashion show. On this part we were judged based on how we walk on the catwalk, also how we present our clothes. On this show we represented Islamic clothing in the order of Ramadan. It was the biggest point on this competition. And FYI it was my first fashion show. I was nervous at that time and struggled in posing tbh.
The last and the most difficult (for me) was the interview session. Urghh i was so desperate by the judges' questions. I felt like i was on the court, seriously! Actually the questions were not really difficult, but i was so nervous and my brain was blank, you know my brain just stopped and didn't work at that time.
Well i didn't win that competition, cause i know i'm just an amateur model. Lol! But i'm so proud of myself cause i did it very well, also i got so many experiences and lessons from that competition. Who knows maybe someday i can be a real supermodel. Haha.. You don't like it? I don't care! Cause here's a quote:
Dream big! If it offends someone, so what! Dream bigger!
